Initial ideas for my Media Project 2 final project
Introduction
An important step for the development of a project is brainstorming ideas that can happen with the software and hardware available. For todays post I have thought of 3 ideas to build upon for my final project.
IDEA 1
A small video were life is told by the eyes of a dog. His thoughts and ideas become the narrative of the story. We can showcase his thoughts when chasing a cat or going for a walk. The software that will be used for the video are Adobe's programs AfterEffects and PremierePro for the editing of the videos, as well as iMovie for cutting and editing the footage a little before importing it into PremierePro. After that Aftereffects will be used to add the effects. For images that may be used on the video I will be using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Any sound related data will be edited and recorded using the program audacity and the a Razer Kraken Pro headset. The video will be edited on a MacBook Pro and the footage will be recorded on a Leica video camera. A variety of shots will be used for the project (e.g. tracking shots, extreme close-ups, mid-shots and long-shots)
IDEA 2
My second idea is to make a small comedic video, talking about small things that everyone does but no one admits. This is a simple idea that can be made with little editing and will focus more on the performance of the actors that I will include in the video. For this video I will be using PremierePro and iMovie for the editing of the video, and the program Storyboarder for the planning and execution. The video will be edited on MacBookPro and I will be using an adaptor from CD card to C-cable in order to transfer the footage. The script for the video will be created in the Celtx website. The shots will be taken from a Leica video camera and there will be mid-shots, extreme closeups and close ups as well as long-shots and birds eye shots.IDEA 3
The third idea I had in mind is a video showing how society is being controlled and people are being oppressed by governments and corporations. The majority of footage that I will use in the video will be stock footage that will be properly cited, with a mix of my own footage taken in an abandoned warehouse. The footage will be edited using PremierPro and AfterEffects. My footage was taken on a Leica videocamera using a tripod and the stock footage will be download from YouTube mp4 converter.

3 nice ideas. I like the second one the most at this stage, but more detail would be useful!
ReplyDeleteYour first idea is good, However, technical research is missing interms of using equipment because the dog eye perspective might be different than the equipment are mentioned.
