Project Development Storyboarder and shot ideas
It is a vital factor for a good final project to have proper development.
That is why I started developing my ideas using Wonder unit's Story boarder
I selected the blank page option in order to experiment further with this new software and also to start creating a brainstorm of ideas.
Firstly I had an idea on how to start my video. Using Story's boarder's camera and a human model I got the idea of showing a man with a bad posture due to the hours that he spends on his device in social media
Adding props to the screen and moving the camera gave me a lot of ideas on how this scene could be executed in order to have a deeper impact to the viewer's mind. Then I added a new board and used the tools in order to see with what question I can start my documentary.
I added a new human model to try and create a small scene so I could slowly start to build up my storyboard. I made the figure a female teen so it would be more realistic and could relate to the people helping me make this video by participating in it.
Afterwards I rotate the angle of the camera to create a more sophisticated shot.
The pictures above are testing images to see which approach of the two characters inspires more emotion.
The story I want to tell is that social media helped society by helping people communicate through this rough times. Some people were unable to see their loved ones due to lockdowns and canceled flights.
I wanted to include a shot that showed how the world has changed during the spread of this decease.
I recorded
Reflection: Planning the shots that I could use for the video was really helpful. I want to improve my script writing skills and using this application can help me achieve that by writing and experimenting with camera angles, people and props. This is something that can be very useful during my next academic years as a film student.

Great that you have tested this software and started created your storyboard. It would be best to see a completed storyboard that shows the structure of your video, key scenes, commentary on the type of shots and narration included.
